Vittsjo | Ikea

The #taylorproject is basically what I've decided to call my never ending remodel. Mostly so it seems legit, and not just a crazy and somewhat unsuccessful attempt at making our smallish living room/dining room combo feel (re: bigger, more chic, baby friendly, toddler proof, and stylish.) Until now that is. I feel like I've finally found a recipe for success and I can't wait to share a few of the steps along the way.

This particular project is one I'm really proud of. After countless Ikea purchases over my adult life, I can finally say I have put one together myself. For those of you who have assembled anything from Ikea you know what a feat this truly is. Youtube, the ridiculous instructions that came with, and a few other "aids" (see below) made this achievement a reality. I can't wait to style this etagere which will sit in-between the living room and dining room, and hopefully tie these two spaces together. In the meantime I threw a few things up so I could show you the finished product. Maybe a post on "how to style a bookshelf" is in the near future. Let me know if that is something you would be interested in...
Putting the whole thing together and realizing you were off by one inward facing piece.
Xo,
T.

    1. Thanks Jenna! To be honest, I just gathered up whatever I had on hand so I could snap a few pics with interest. I plan on posting a full tutorial on "how to style a bookshelf/etagere" soon.
