Genuinely Made Giveaway + Savvy Style

 I don't know if you noticed in yesterday's post, but this little girl was sporting some really cute hair accessories. Like, reeeeally cute thanks to Genuinely Made. Prior to finding these quality leather hair bows and bands, I had always had a love hate relationship with them. My little peanut has a pretty small head, so headbands normally slip right off. I've also noticed so many of our bow clips either fall apart or don't have the alligator teeth to really fasten to her fine hair. Mama's, you feel me? I thought so...

Enter Genuinely Made. I'm so excited to have finally found really cute and well made stuff for Savvy. I feel like that never ending search for modern hair accessories is over. In addition, I got to the opportunity to get to know my girl Azlyn, a sweet mama and GM's owner. I asked her to share a little about herself and GM. Here's what she said:

"I officially opened Genuinely Made Shop on June 1, 2014. I have always had an itch for designing and being creative, and that's what keeps me going! I love the idea of working from home and being around my baby girl, yet also being able to contribute to our finances. When my daughter was born, I was given a lot of hair bows but no headbands, and go figure...she was pretty bald! So I decided to make a few of my own. I bought a bag of scrap leather and started making bows with different patterns and sizes. I try and satisfy every mommy out there, so I offer a range of colors from flashy metallics, to neutrals, and patterns. I also try my best to make my hair accessories as secure as possible, because lets face it, kids like to play hard! All the bows and headbands are as connected as they can be without any weird wires, ties, or clips They are ALL bow! What you see in the shop is what you will get in your mailbox! I especially appreciate all my fans and followers, without them I could never do any of this; I could have never tried out this dream of mine. Thank you!"
