Hudson Is One + Top Ten.

Just look at this boy! This was Hudson on Saturday morning in all of his birthday glory. I definitely saw a glimpse into my future, trying to keep up with the celebration of both Halloween (costumes, parades, trick-or-treating oh my!) and birthday fun all within the same week. 

One thing I didn't see coming was how close I would hold him to my heart. When you write a blog, you kind of sign yourself up to be an open book. Sharing your life and your thoughts are considered par for the course. So when it came time to write about my deep love for this birthday boy, I decided that some things are better left unsaid. No post, card, or update could ever begin to accurately describe the crazy mad love I have for him. So instead, I'll leave you with my top 10 tips for life with a little boy.

1) Let him be little. 2) Pray for him constantly. 3) Encourage him to be brave. 4) Embrace the times he is not. 5) Pray for him some more. 6) Teach him to be kind. 7) Be his biggest fan. 8) Let him get dirty. 9) Tell him how much you love him. 10) Make him feel special.
