Take That, 2015

In the famous (and favorite) words of Cory, "BAM!" Take that 2015. The first Monday morning of 2015 started off better than most. The babes were up early, which seems to be a trend around here these days, but thankfully fell back asleep for a while. This gave me the perfect opportunity to get a few things done before they were fully awake for the day. One of which was using my new spiralizer to make breakfast sweet potato curly fries! I am literally obsessed. I see healthy things happening soon, and I'm really pumped about it. I also had a minute to organizing a few of my thoughts and goals. I think I've been in a bit of denial over Christmas break. Let me explain...

I'm not typically one to get overwhelmed by the future or goal setting. Quite the opposite actually, most of the time I am enthusiastic about change and look forward to new challenges. This year however, felt different. I was almost nervous about my resolutions. Do you ever feel this way?

When I took the time to slow down and really think about where I am, and what I'm doing it kind of hit me...so much is up in the air! I guess I thought by my late (late, late) 20's I'd feel more settled. I know, a house, two babes and a dog should feel pretty solid right? Wrong

Part of me actually likes like there are still options, still things I don't know. The other half of me wishes I felt like a few more things were in the "checked" category. Here is what I do know, I'm grateful for what I have. One of my 2015 resolutions was to express more of my gratitude, and part of being grateful is showing appreciation for the blessings in my life. I'll save you the gag fest of listing them, but know I am truly grateful. And with that, I'm out!
Xo,
T.
