Nutritionist Collaboration

Welcome back! So today is the day I finally get to share the exciting collaboration I have been working on with Stacy of Lemon Tree Wellness. I'll let Stacy introduce herself below, because over the next couple of weeks she will be sharing some of her suggestions for living a more balanced, healthy life. We're talking about tangible things you can do, that in some cases, will immediately change not only how you look - but more importantly how you feel. Hollllaaaaa!
I originally decided I wanted to work with a nutritionist (that's her above) after feeling a little lost in terms of my health journey. For a while Cory and I (and subsequently the babes) have been sneaking in subtle, yet what we feel are important changes to our diet and overall health. One small example is just switching our milk from dairy to almond milk. I was able to do a large amount of "research" (thanks Pinterest) on how to integrate eating clean, more green, and with less meat/milk in our diet. My inspiration was two fold: 1) I just really took an interest in trying to feed my family and myself the best stuff possible, and 2) after having the babes my body just wasn't the same.

For you mama's out there I know you'll read that and think...obviously, but I'm referring to so many other ways than just in appearance. But on that note, who doesn't want to look and feel their best? No matter what changes I made, I kept feeling like I wasn't at my best. So I went on a mission to figure it out.

I put the word out (on Facebook. duh.) that I was looking for a legit nutritionist and a friend of mine recommend I give her friend Stacy call. We met up and discussed my health history, concerns, and goals one night over dinner. I quickly realized this girl knows what's up which is why I'm so stoked she wanted to share some of it with you. Without further adu...

Hi, my name is Stacy. I am a wife, a mother, and the owner of Lemon Tree Health and Wellness where I practice as a holistic health coach. Holistic means that I look at how all the areas of your life are connected. My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It's not to create a list of restrictions and/or "good foods" and "bad foods". Instead, I work with you to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible and rewarding.

...As for her training and education:

I received my training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was educated in nutrition and various dietary theories. I also studied a variety of practical health coaching methods. I'm all about getting people back to their roots and finding what works for them to live a life of sustainable health.

Stacy and I have a mini series planned, but we'd love to hear from you! Are there any topics of interest you want her to cover? Leave a comment below or mention it over on my Instagram.
Xo,
T.
